99 Blades' music is a darkly lit composition of mostly instrumental tracks illuminated with strobes of various genres – electronic, trip hop, alt rock, and experimental – and infuses volatile beats, granular texture, and beautifully crafted melodies that take a listener through a labyrinth of emotion. And the occasional vocal cameo calls on the palace’s Minotaur to howl rhymes with cleverly constructed cadences.

Channeling his early influences and drawing inspiration from Bjork, Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park, The Glitch Mob, and DJ Shadow, 99 Blades recently put out his latest record rEVenGE oF tHe 4 wiNdS, a nine-track effort that evokes imagination and vivid imagery.
